The Venue sets-up the venue's tables and chairs inside the venue and on the waterfront deck based on the layout design we have created with you.  Break-down of the tables and chairs is provided at no charge by the in-house Planner/Manager and Venue.

Provided: oversized waterfront Deck with its iconic scenic view, 33' x 15' Extra Large Dance Floor, 150 Black Chiavari Chairs used inside the venue, 18 round guest tables, rolling cake table, 6 cocktail bistro tables, 4 small guest tables, 11 square guest tables, 4 square marble tables, round or square sweet-heart tables, 3 of 8' tables, 2 of  6' tables, 40' hand crafted cocktail bar,  and 1 of 8' table for DJ.  Plus, 87" TV (an add-on feature),  and Wi-Fi.

You receive a planning process portal once booked in which you will find vetted vendors that we have worked with over and over during the last 17 years.  In order to ensure you receive the utmost care and attention on your big day, we ask that you work off these lists of curated professionals.  Also, in-house food catering is offered as an option.  Our only vendor requirements are catering.

Rental rate  for this Pensacola wedding venue is $7000, but it varies depending on the package you have chosen.

We also have in-house planning, wedding managers, and in-house catering (in the alternative, an exclusive food catering list).

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a $2000 non-refundable payment of the base rental due at the time of booking along with a signed Reservation Agreement.

The remaining non-refundable payments are due monthly on a payment plan.  

Any and all payments made are nonrefundable upon receipt.

This is why hiring our in house planning or wedding management along with our exclusive list of vendors makes a world of difference.  Your catering company will ensure everything is maintained throughout the evening and cleaned up as it relates to food service at the end of your event.  Your in house planner or wedding manager will make sure that your personal items are gathered and loaded with whoever you have designated ahead of time.  

FAQ 7 | Who is Responsible for Clean Up After My Event?

Rental of the Venue includes 10 hours which is 1 hour Rehearsal, 3 hour load in on wedding day, 5 hours for actual event, and 1 hour load-out.  All events must conclude no later than 10:00 pm and an additional hour is allotted for caterer, vendor, and planner clean-up.  Additional set-up and event time can be purchased prior to event date.

Our booked clients have access to property for engagement, bridal, and anniversary photos (subject to availability and cannot interfere with other events).

One block from the venue, there are 100 free parking spaces for your guests. This is a Public Parking area with a first come basis. Across the street, there is a 30 paid parking space for your guests in the next block. There is more free parking available a couple of blocks south of the Venue. There is a parking garage one block away that can be reserved.

We make a conscious effort to be more, to do more, and to give more. While it may seem as though our sole purpose is to provide a great relaxed friendly wedding venue for weddings and events, we strive for something higher. Palafox Wharf also serves the greater purpose of being a home away from home for everyone that walks through our doors. It’s a special place, where friends and family can come together and create lifelong memories rooted in joy and happiness.

The venue was built in 1880 by a shipping company who had 14 ships which sailed down in the Bay of Campeche in Mexico for red snapper.  We found one of these ships in Miami named "The American Eagle" and brought it back to the venue.  There are interesting parts of the ship which are artfully placed in the venue in the Cocktail Bar area.  Much of the original wood from 1880 has been preserved for the venue.

Also, their property is simply gorgeous. It sits on the water and the sunset at the perfect time in the evenings where it sits behind a building so guests don't sweat and the lighting is perfect outdoors. 

During the planning process, Sandy went above and beyond to make it as easy as possible. She provided me with a list of preferred vendors. This was probably my favorite thing they provided, because it made choosing vendors extremely quick. Also, because they were work together so frequently, there was never any miscommunication about my wedding.
