Today, a just engaged couple visited our venue and during our conversation, I had to ask if their rings were insured. Guess what? They are insured! Great! Many jewelers are now chatting with the customer about purchasing jewelry insurance when the ring is sold through the jewelry shop. After that, I went on to ask if they have taken a break from the endless questions that everyone has been asking them. Hmm… Maybe not.

It’s a busy time and you should treat yourselves to a little celebration. From a beach picnic to a mountain retreat to a simple stroll in the woods, pick what speaks to you. Little Story – This location was Mr. Manatee’s, a restaurant, before we transformed it into the Palafox Wharf Waterfront Wedding Venue 17 years ago. During a lunch visit, I went to the restroom to wash my hands and I noticed something very sparkly on near the wash basin. It was a dazzling ring it looked like a 3-carat diamond. First thing that came to mind was that a newly engaged bride took the ring off to wash her hands and inadvertently left it behind. In an effort to reunite the ring with its owner, I gave the ring to the restaurant’s managing partner. I hope it found its way back to the bride! I hope she insured her ring!
